Lawyers and certified public accountants in Colombia
Your legal, tax and accounting team in Colombia.
We help foreign entrepreneurs and companies set up, stay compliant and grow in Colombia: company formation, accounting, taxes, contracts, litigation and government tenders. Lawyers and accountants on the same case, fixed fees in writing, and partners who are your direct contact in English.
No referrals
A lawyer and an accountant review your case together, from day one.
Fixed fees
You know what you pay before we start. No hourly billing or extras.
Speed with judgment
Tools that speed up the analysis; every decision is made by a professional.
Who we help
Colombian rules, Spanish-only paperwork and a tax authority you have never dealt with. We take that off your plate and explain every step in English.
Starting a company in Colombia
We set up your S.A.S.: bylaws, Chamber of Commerce registration, RUT tax ID and the tax regime that fits, with accounting ready from month one.
Running a business here
Bookkeeping, VAT, withholding, municipal tax and payroll handled every month, so you stay compliant with the DIAN without learning the system.
Contracts and your brand
We review or draft your contracts with Colombian clients, suppliers and partners, walk you through every clause in English, and register your trademark with the SIC.
Hiring your team
Employment contracts, payroll and social security under Colombian labor law, so you know the real cost of each hire and stay protected from day one.
When your lawyer and your accountant don't talk, your company pays.
Most small and mid-sized companies have an accountant on one side and, at best, a lawyer on the other. Each one sees half of the problem.
A tax inquiry answered halfway
The DIAN, Colombia's tax authority, asks an accounting question with legal consequences, and the answer only covers one side.
A contract signed without checking taxes
The clauses are well drafted, but nobody calculated the VAT, the withholding tax or the tax risk.
A tender lost over one document
The bidder registry (RUP), the financial statements and the legal requirements were not aligned at the deadline.
At OC, those three conversations happen at the same table.
What we do for your company

Why companies choose OC
We are a firm of lawyers and certified public accountants built for small and mid-sized companies: one team, one price, one responsibility.
Legal and tax, integrated
No referrals: the lawyer and the accountant work on the same case with the same information.
Fixed fees, in writing
Scope and price are in the contract. If something new comes up, it is quoted before, never after.
Technology with judgment
Analysis tools that make us faster and more precise; the judgment and the signature always belong to a professional.
In-house tax litigation
If the DIAN challenges something, the same team that knows your numbers defends it.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work with us in English?
Yes. Camila Cubillos and Kevin Orozco, partners of the firm, are your direct contact in English, and the rest of the team works on your case behind them. Filings and documents before Colombian authorities are in Spanish, and we explain them to you in English.
Do I need to be in Colombia to work with you?
No. We work remotely by video call, email and WhatsApp, and we already serve companies throughout Colombia this way. Some procedures may require signed documents from you; we tell you which ones in advance.
What does the fixed fee include?
The scope we agree on in the proposal: deliverables, frequency and channels, in writing. If you need something outside that scope, we quote it before doing it.
Do I have to sign a minimum term?
No. Monthly plans have no minimum term and no penalty for ending them.
What happens if I receive an inquiry from the DIAN?
Our tax litigation team handles it. If you have the Growth accounting plan, responses to inquiries are included; if not, we quote them with a fixed fee before we start.
Does artificial intelligence make decisions about my company?
No. AI tools speed up reading and analysis; every decision and every document is reviewed and signed by a professional on the team.
Do you serve companies outside Santa Marta?
Yes. Our office is in Santa Marta and we serve companies throughout Colombia remotely.
How do I start?
Book a free 30-minute consultation on WhatsApp or by email. We reply the same business day.
