Accounting and tax outsourcing
Accounting outsourcing for companies.
We keep your company's books, taxes and payroll in Colombia for a fixed monthly fee, without the cost of an in-house accountant and with no minimum term. With lawyers on the same team.
What is accounting outsourcing?
It means hiring an external firm to keep your company's books, taxes and financial statements instead of having an accountant on payroll. Your company does not carry a salary, benefits or social security, and every month it receives its accounting information and tax returns ready.
It is also called external accounting or bookkeeping services.
And tax outsourcing?
It is the part that handles taxes: VAT, withholding tax, municipal industry and commerce tax (ICA), income tax and the annual information report, with the DIAN calendar under control. At OC it is included, and if the DIAN asks, the same team of lawyers and accountants responds.

In-house accountant or accounting outsourcing?
The salary you agree with an in-house accountant in Colombia is not what it costs your company each month.
| Item | In-house accountant | OC outsourcing |
|---|---|---|
| Base salary (example) | COP 3,000,000 | Not applicable |
| Transport allowance, social security, payroll levies and benefits | COP 1,443,762 to 1,848,762 | Not applicable |
| Equipment, hardware and software | Additional cost | Included |
| Legal backing before the DIAN | Hired separately | On the same team |
| Real monthly cost | COP 4,443,762 to 4,848,762 | Your fixed fee |
Occupational risk class I and a transport allowance of COP 249,095. The lower figure applies the exemption in art. 114-1 of the Tax Code; the higher one does not.

Questions about accounting outsourcing
What does the service include?
Bookkeeping, taxes, payroll and financial statements, with online support. The exact scope goes in the written proposal.
How much does it cost for a small company?
A fixed monthly fee that depends on your company's volume of operations, complexity and obligations. We define it in the free consultation.
Why does an in-house accountant cost more than it seems?
Because transport allowance, social security, payroll levies and benefits are added to the salary: between 48% and 62% more, not counting equipment or software.
Do I have to sign a minimum term?
No. Monthly plans have no minimum term and no penalty for ending them.
Do you serve companies outside Santa Marta?
Yes. Our office is in Santa Marta and we serve companies throughout Colombia remotely.
What happens if the DIAN sends me an inquiry?
The same team handles it: the accountant prepares the supporting documents and the lawyer the legal response. Appeals and lawsuits are quoted beforehand, with a fixed fee.
Can you bring overdue accounting up to date?
Yes. We prioritize whatever carries a risk of penalties and organize the monthly close.
Will the reports be in English?
Filings and accounting records are kept in Spanish, as Colombian law requires. Camila Cubillos or Kevin Orozco, partners of the firm, explain them to you in English.
